A model for a one-layered crust under the Norwegian Seismic Array in southeastern Norway has been determined by the application of the spectral-ratio method to long-period P waves recorded at the array's individual 22 long-period instrument sets. The model includes an average crustal velocity of 6.6 km/s and a depth to Moho which is 32-34 km in the eastern and southeastern part of the array and increases westward to about 38 km. Based on data simulations and observational material, it is concluded that the spectral-ratio method cannot be utilized to delineate the more detailed structure of the crust and upper mantle.
