A solution is obtained in the isotropic-diffusion approximation for the stationary problem involving the modulation of cosmic rays from a monoenergetic point source situated outside the modulation region by the spherically symmetric solar wind. Allowance is made for diffusion processes, convective transfer, adiabatic particle deceleration in the divergent plasma flow, and the shock-acceleration of particles at the heliospheric boundary.
