Studies at the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy particularly in regard to cosmic ray detection and construction of the Muonic Cherenkov telescope at the University of Blagoevgrad indicate a need for the development of a theoretical model based on observed phenomena and a refinement of this for detection system optimisation. This was introduced in the EGS4 code system. The first simulations consecrate on a number of different geometries of the water tank in total reflection. The model was compared with experimental data involving a 60Co gamma source and the telescope.
