We investigate axisymmetric solutions of Saturn’s magnetospheric equilibrium by solving the Grad-Shafranov type equation in which the pressure anisotropy and centrifugal force effects are included. The model solutions such as heavy ion and magnetic field fit the data along the Voyager trajectories. As compared to the isotropic model, the direction of current reverses to westward inside ~10 RS due to anisotropic effect, with half thickness of about 1 RS. Outside ~10 RS the eastward currents form a thin ring with half thickness of ~2 RS for the Voyager 1 case but form a thick torus with half thickness of ~6 RS for the Voyager 2 case. We will also model the Saturn’s magnetosphere by employing the observation data of CASSINI satellite. The results will be presented.
