Both strong and electromagnetic interactions were taken into consideration in the three-dimensional modeling of the cascade process in the atmosphere. Modeling was carried out by a new method proposed by Dunaevskii and Uryson (1975) which permits effective modeling of processes involving the production of 150 to 200 particles. The scaling model obtained is shown to lead to reasonable predictions for initial-particle energies above 800 TeV.
