The fine structure of quasi-harmonic damped VLF emissions is analyzed on the basis of data obtained at the Magadan observatory in April 1980 and May 1984. It is shown that these emissions occur after intense weakly dispersed whistlers followed by a delay corresponding to the period of natural relaxation oscillations. The probability density functions of the amplitude and period distributions of the emissions have several peaks selected according to time and frequency. This fact of several peaks may be due to the mode structure of the VLF radiation, as it propagates in magnetospheric channels oriented along the magnetic field.
