This chapter shows how Scientific specifications (see II.4 this volume) , Technical constraints, in particular due to the platform (see IV.1 this volume), and Budget limitations (see III.3. this volume) have lead to define a very simple mission profile, which allows to perform uninterrupted very long duration observations in adequate regions of the sky.
