Millisecond Pulsars: Pulse Timing
Scientific paper
We have developed a unique system using an acoustooptic spectrometer for
precise timing of millisecond pulsars. This system can handle a signal
of 50 MHz bandwidth with a frequency resolution of 200 kHz and a time
resolution of 13 μs, and it can average 224 (7 h) pulses
without any dead time.
