Four microwave lines in the ν2 excited vibrational state of H216O have been newly observed. The frequencies of the lines are (in MHz) 42,3 - 33,0, 12008.80 ± 0.03; 53,2 - 44,1, 26834.27 ± 0.03 44,0 - 53,3, 96261.16 ± 0.1; and 22,0 - 31,3, 119995.94 ± 0.1. An improved set of molecular constants is obtained through a combined analysis of microwave and infrared data.
