A system of equations describing cloud formation and evolution in the atmospheres of the giant planets of Jupiter is presented with allowance for cloud microstructure. The adiabatic model of the atmosphere with an initial temperature of 300 K and an adiabatic gradient of 2.25 K/km is used in the calculations. A relationship is established between atmospheric parameters and the cloud cover characteristics (ammonia content, water content, particle concentration, and the mean radius of particles).
