Observations and an analysis are presented of the micron-sized-particle
impacts observed by the plasma-wave instrument aboard the Voyager 2.
After a detailed description of signals produced by the dust impacts,
the impact noise is interpreted in terms of the number density and mass
of the particles. The likely sources of the particles are discussed.
