The invariant imbedding method is used to calculate the parameters of the interference patterns in the Michelson and Fabry-Perot schemes in a random inhomogeneous medium in the working arm and between the reflectors, respectively. Using the Sommerfeld boundary conditions on the reflectors, formulas are obtained for the wave-field intensity, the contrast, and the number and half-width of its maxima as a function of the interferometer baseline.
