A method for the formation of anomalous masses in the earth's crust and upper mantle is proposed for an eight-layer earth model which is based on the observed initial information and on the planetary density model with a continental type of crust. The algorithm proposed here has been implemented in a gravitational model of the earth's crust and upper mantle for the Caucasian region and is now used in automatic mode within a gravimetric-seismic data search and information system.
