Several methods for controlling the geometrical parameters of radio-telescope reflecting surfaces are considered, including geodetic, photogrammetric, difference, and radiometric methods. Methods for investigating the geometrical parameters of such reflecting surfaces are described, and the future directions of development of alignment techniques for reflecting surfaces are considered. Shape changes of radio telescopes with an error of 0.1-0.3 mm can be achieved given the current state of the technology.
