The importance of the IR domain in determining stellar populations from the integrated light of galaxies will be shown. A new code dedicated to these investigations and based on flux measurement, including emission by dust, will be presented. The method used is a revival of the quadratic programming first intraduced by Faber (1972). It is required to perform proper error analysis, both for the statistical and the systematic errors.
