A common technique for measuring the velocity of a spacecraft involves the use of ground radar with retransmission of the interrogating signal by onboard antennas. This paper proposes a method for determining the velocity of the center of mass of a spacecraft on the basis of trajectory measurements, with allowance for the displacement of the onboard antennas. This method can be used to formulate requirements on the accuracy of trajectory measurements assuring a prescribed loss of accuracy in the case of the transition from arbitrary points of the spacecraft to the center of mass.
