An investigation of various chemical methods involving non-oxidizing
conditions for separation of diamonds in stone meteorites was continued.
A new technique which employs KHF 2 fusion was successful in recovering
graphite from several meteorites. No diamonds were found in seventeen
meteorites using the methods described.
