Problems of measuring fluctuations of comoving galaxy number densities on scales ≫50 h-1Mpc (h = H0/(100 km sec-1Mpc-1) are discussed. The accuracy depends on the size of the survey volume, on the adopted magnitude corrections for K-effect and evolution, and on the decelaration parameter q0. The value of the cosmological constant is assumed to be zero. Preliminary results from subsamples of 0.9 million low resolution galaxy redshift obtained in the Münster Redshift Project are given.
