Late-Type Stars: Magnetic Fields

The authors have obtained high-resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio CCD spectra of 5 late-type stars, λ And, κ Cet, 61 Cyg A, α Cas, β Cet. Preliminary results of magnetic field determinations for these stars are presented. They use two methods, the profile-addition technique of spectral profiles of Zeeman broadening and Stenflo-Lindegren statistical analysis.
