The cross section for the reactions Ca-40 (alpha, gamma) Ti-44, Ca-40 (alpha, p) Sc-43, and Ca-48 (alpha, n) Ti-51 were measured between the center of mass energies of 3.5 MeV and 9.0 MeV. These cross sections were used to calculate reaction rates as a function of temperature for stellar interior and compared to theoretical predictions of the equivalent square well model.
