Results are reported for radio observations of Saturn carried out at a frequency of 102.5 MHz (wavelength of 2.92 m). No radio emission from Saturn was detected at this frequency, but upper limits of 0.1 Jy and 50,000 K are placed on the flux density and brightness temperature, respectively. The upper limit on the 102.5-MHz flux density is shown to be at least an order of magnitude lower than the value to be expected if Saturn were the same kind of synchrotron-radiation source as Jupiter.
