Radiometric observations of Venus by the Venera 9 and 10 space probes are analyzed which cover the latitude zone from -40 to +50 deg and the spectral range containing the 7.4 - 13.3-micron and 17.7 - 30-micron bands. The limb-darkening law for the Venusian thermal radiation is examined along with the day-night asymmetry of the radiation. A brightness temperature of 240.3 K is determined for the planet as a whole, and a radiometric albedo of 0.79 (+0.02, -0.01) is obtained.
