Mineralogy studies by NASA Opportunity Rover report iron oxides and
hydroxides precipitates on Mars. Sedimentary deposits have been
identified at Meridiani Planum. These deposits should have been
generated in a dune aqueous acidic and oxidizing environment.
Similarities appear when we study Rio Tinto.
