The catalog of artificial space objects (ASO) is used for evaluation of the security of space flights. The Space Surveillance System is currently maintaining the catalog of ASO, containing more than 5000 objects (with size more than 10 cm), the parameters of their orbits are continuously improved from radar tracking observations. A scheme of a software system for data processing is described. The article considers (as illustrative example) the result of the evaluation of lifetime and location of decay for the space station "Salyut 7 - Kosmos 1686".
