Here we propose magnetic reconnection as a mechanism for condrule heating in the proto-solar nebula. The first self-consistent simulations of a reconnection event in a dusty plasma are presented. The plasma is composed of electrons, singly charged ions, negative multiply-charged massive dust particles, and neutrals. We begin with an anti-parallel Harris-like magnetic field configuration. An anomalous resistivity is then employed to initiate reconnection. Results of both 2D and 3D simulations show a decrease in magnetic energy.
