A class of materials simulating the two-dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnets with an XXZ spin anisotropy is studied using the method of double-time-temperature Green's functions (GF) with spin S = 5/2 within Tyablikov's decoupling approximation. The Neel temperature TN is calculated employing the method of Callen, and agrees rather well with the measured values for the quasi two-dimensional antiferromagnets Rb2MnCl4, Rb2MnF4 and K2MnF4 in zero magnetic field.
