Recent experimental measurements performed by new astronomical techniques confirm that there was an urgent need to adopt a new luni-solar nutations table taking into account the dynamical effects of the liquid core of the earth. The most recent results obtained in this respect from earth tide measurements are discussed, along with the nutation table to be adopted.
