The OSL and TL luminescence methods have been used to dating of impact craters. The two sites were investigated as key studies—“Morasko Meteorite” Reserve near Poznań, Poland and Kaali meteorite field on the island of Saaremaa, Estonia. The data obtained for sediments from the two sites show that the luminescence of rocks and sediments of various ages has been bleached at the time of impact. This indicates that luminescence tests are a promising technique for recognizing forms related to the impact of an extraterrestrial body.
