In the present work we study asymmetric nuclear matter in the presence of strong external magnetic fields using the lowest-order constrained variational (LOCV) method with the AV18 potential and employing a microscopic point of view. According to our results, the induced phase transition to antiferromagnetic states occurs for asymmetric nuclear matter in a strong magnetic field.
