We review several experiments in ionospheric modification performed at the HAARP facility. Many of these experiments have been done in bistatic configuration with the WAVES receiver on the NASA/WIND satellite, including study of scintillation-like variations in low frequency propagation through the earth's ionosphere and magnetosphere. The objective of these experiments is to study solar system phenomena that are accessible through high power radio wave transmissions. As power levels at HAARP extend to nonlinear regimes of ionospheric modification, it will be useful to receive and diagnose the spectrum of scattered and stimulated low frequency waves with a ground-based receiving array such as the LWA. In addition, we suggest future lunar radio wave echo experiments with HAARP and LWA.
