Atmospheric pressure fluctuations have been recorded in the period range 5 sec to 30 min. Irregular fluctuations with periods less than 30 sec were always recorded during moderate or strong local wind, but in addition isolated quasi-periodic bursts were found, lasting about 1 hr, and with dominant periods between 1 and 15 min. These long-period bursts were highly correlated with the approach of cold fronts at Camden, and usually gave way to the shorter period fluctuations on the arrival of the front. The dominant period depended weakly on season, and strongly on local time. Spectral analysis has extended the spectra of previous workers to longer periods.
