A series of experiments conducted in 1985 - 1986 is described, on the possibility of using the method of long-baseline narrow-band radiointerferometry for exact determinations of the trajectories of interplanetary space apparatus. From the tracked objects, the Vega spacecraft, the authors received narrow-band radio signals in the long-wavelength range 32 cm. The baseline of the interferometer had a length of about 1200 km. The goal of the experiments was to determine the equatorial celestial coordinates of the spacecraft in a reference frame attached to extragalactic radio sources. The method and results of the experiments are presented.
