We propose to conduct a 3mm line survey, from 80GHz to 110GHz, toward the nuclear region of starburst galaxy NGC253 and starburst/AGN hybrid galaxy NGC 1068. Results from such unbiased surveys, which are still rare toward extragalactic sources, will provide us potential candidate lines for spatially resolved interferometric observations which are essentially important for understanding the local physics and nuclear activity in LIRG/ULIRGs. Meanwhile, the comprehensive chemistry revealed by such line surveys will help on understanding the physical properties and the ISM heating mechanism.
