Scientific paper

Calculated phase function and polarization degree of light scattered by randomly oriented clusters of spherical particles at phase angles of 0 - 20° are presented. The clusters contain two or three identical particles with the wave parameter ρ = 4 and the refractive index m = 1.32+0.05 i. It is shown that the electromagnetic interaction of particles leads to the negative polarization and the opposition effect which are characteristic for the cometary and interplanetary dust as well as for the surfaces of atmosphereless celestial bodies.
