The existence of libration points is investigated for the generalized elliptic restricted three-body problem, where the two large bodies are homogeneous spheres and the body with infinitesimal mass is a dynamically symmetrical satellite with equatorial plane of symmetry. Conditions are found for the existence of collinear and triangular libration points. The coordinates of the libration points are functions of the true anomaly of the primary bodies moving in ellipses with the common center of mass for a common focus. This is in contrast with the circular case, where the libration points are constant.
