Analysis of observations of the white-light corona performed aboard OSO-7 is evidence for the existence of coronal ribbon-structures, which may be observed on the limb as coronal streamers. It is shown that prolongation of these structures into interplanetary space forms a curved surface. Intersection of this surface is accompanied by a change of polarity of the interplanetary magnetic field, which existed in May-July 1973. Its connection with several phenomena in the solar atmosphere has been found.
