Interplanetary Magnetic Field: Large-Scale Structure, Interplanetary Magnetic Field: Sector Structure

Large-scale magnetic variations of the sector structure of the interplanetary magnetic field are considered in connection with the general character of the development of solar activity and dynamics of the heliospheric current layer from the minimum to the maximum of solar activity. The presence of a two-sector structure is noted. The data on the determination of the sector structur of the interplanetary magnetic field are given on the basis of 1984 - 1989 ground-based observations at the Vostok and Resolute Bay stations.
