3C 123 is a very intense radio galaxy with the remarkably high redshift of 0.637. A field 1.5 by 1.5 deg centered on 3C 123 was observed at 1420 MHz with a 100-m telescope. After applying a 'cleaning' procedure to remove sidelobe effects of the antenna, a map was obtained showing that 3C 123 is surrounded by weak features. If these features are associated with 3C 123, the size of the system would be about 30-40 Mpc, larger than any other known radio source.
