Scientific paper

The Laplace method is used to calculate perturbations in the coordinates of Iapetus, taking into account both long-period and secular perturbations due to Saturn's oblateness and the gravitational attracting forces of the sun, Titan, Rhea, and Dione, as well as short-period perturbations due to the sun and Titan. A numerical analysis of the findings obtained is presented.
