The results of kinetic theory approach to solar cosmic ray pulse distribution in interplanetary space of Fedorov and Stehlik (1997) are applied to an anisotropic solar GLE on May 24, 1990. This event described in detail by many authors consisted of two increases on NMs. We tentatively separate the second, highly anisotropic increase and apply the kinetic theory approach. Using records of several NMs with different asymptotic directions we illustrate the possibilities and limits of this approch.
