The paper surveys the first results of the Voyager missions, noting that the detailed evaluation of Voyager 2 data has just begun. Topics discussed include the course of the flights including alterations to the Voyager 2 flight path, as well as the visible Jovian cloud cover which revealed rapid changes in some cloud formations. Attention is also given to the characteristics of the Jovian atmosphere and magnetosphere. Finally, discussion covers the ring of Jupiter and the inner moons, Amalthea, Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto.
