The first one has a total area 1.2 square meters and was designed for investigation of ultra heavy (Z>50) nuclei abundances in high energy cosmic rays. The second one, with a total area 0.09 square meters, was designed for measurement of charge and isotopic composition of cosmic ray iron group energies up to 200 MeV/N.
