The proposed method is based on a combination of the successive approximation method and the continuation method. The method is applied to the nonlinear identification of the aerodynamic coefficients and initial motion conditions of a spacecraft according to measurements of its three-dimensional motion. It is shown that the proposed synthesis method is more accurate in solving this identification problem than the successive approximation method alone.
