Isospin mixing of excited states with isospin quantum numbers T = 0 and
T = 1 in odd-odd N=Z nuclei is analyzed. It is shown how the measured
E2/M1 multipole mixing ratios can be used to estimate the degree of
isospin breaking. The favorable conditions and the role of collective
effects for the reliable estimations are discussed.
