The authors present plots of all 5425 spectra in the IRAS catalogue of
low-resolution spectra. The LRS catalogue contains the average spectra
of most IRAS point sources with 12 μm flux densities above 10 Jy.
More than 95 percent of the LRS sources are stars, most of them with
circumstellar envelopes.
