A method for deriving three parameters characterizing a modified plasma
using HF-enhanced plasma lines is presented. The method is demonstrated
by using plasma lines obtained at Eiscat in a recent HF modification
experiment. This method is a unique way of determining the plasma
parameters at the nonlinear interaction region.
