A geomagneticc storm on November 30, 1988 is analyzed for its possible
solar origin. The results are as follows: (1) the effect of a solar
flare activity is scarcely impossible; (2) the effect of disappearing
filaments is possible; and (3) the effects of a corotating high-speed
region or a coronal hole cannot be denied.
