The solar differential rotation by H-alpha filaments is investigated based on Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory observational data on chromospheric filaments according to the 'Solar Service' program in 1976-1986. Propagation of a quasi-biannual impulse of the rotation residual from high latitudes to the equator is found in the solar northern hemisphere for 1979-1981. It is suggested that this phenomenon may be related to the polarity reversal in the solar northern hemisphere in 1981.0.
