The ITEP 80 cm hydrogen bubble chamber was used to investigate the reaction 3Hp --> ppnn at a triton momentum of 2.5 GeV/c. About 8900 events of the reaction were selected, analyzed and compared with the predictions of a pole model with interactions of spectator nucleons in the final state. Both the character of the main distributions of the reaction and their absolute values are described reasonably enough in this model, without free parameters. The structures in the mass spectrum of pnn system in the region of the supposed three-nucleon resonances are also explained.
