Various statistical methods were used to determine values of errors in the magnitude equation for stellar proper motions in 30 areas of the sky with galaxies observed with the long-focus astrograph (D = 40 cm, F = 5.5 m) of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. Calculations were made of variations of the coefficients of the magnitude equation due to the use of different solar apex positions in the computation of the parallax factors of bright and faint stars.
